for some reason the song anthem for a seventeen year-old girl made me extremely nostalgic for high school, except i realize now that i was a silly, angsty girl who had no idea about love or life. stuff's better now and i'm less of a dramatic tailspin, but i wish that i would have turned my emotions into something beautiful and connect to mankind, instead of being defensive and vague and stupid. life's pretty good, drugs or no drugs, and i'll get through the next big life change without any crisis. thanks to everyone who put up with the crazier version of me.
