sometimes after years away meeting others, i go back to the old and realize it's not what i once thought. emotions that surfaced so strongly are no longer there, and flaws previously unseen now stand out. yet somehow the appreciation remains and the flaws are forgiven, for the sake of what we shared, for our time together. and so i find myself revisiting old bands once again...
