do you know how very scary it is to have complete strangers address you by your name? i feel like i'm being stalked or something. the sound of "hey, ______" or "thanks, _____" really pushes my paranoia button. (hehe, i almost put my name there, but then i'm like, "uh oh! that's not right!") customers shouldn't be allowed to know your name. how very very scary. i suppose i could do the same with the credit card or check people. "there you go, mrs. so-and-so." "have a nice evening, mr. so-and-so." but now that i thought of it, it's just too much extra work. ya know i once saw this movie with robin williams who was a doctor treating patients with this certain illness. they couldn't respond to anything or move, and their brain waves didn't change when you talked to them until you said their name. then that little squiggle would jump. that's what it's like. my squiggle jumps. very scary.
