distracting

so normally i keep my windows mostly shaded because otherwise the street lights would shine directly into my room keeping me from falling asleep at night, and in the mornings, i'm usually too busy or forget to open them up again. but last night all the lights on mass ave went out for some reason and it was dark and eerie, so i opened all windows to let in more light so i wouldn't be scared, and now my windows are completely open to the late afternoon and i can see mass ave and the river and harvard bridge and boston across the way and people are running and biking and strolling along everywhere and it's spring and it's beautiful and also soooo distracting when i'm trying to work.
