hs relationships

i think the key to any high school relationship is to know that it will not last forever, and act accordingly. have one for fun only and, whatever you do, don't expose yourself to your partner. if you have anything hidden, keep it hidden. don't get too close, don't be friends first. friendships can last forever because it is easy to accept a friend's flaws and help them with their problems, but if you're going out with someone.. well, everything becomes more complicated so all of the little annoyances grow until they are unbearable. going out with a friend will just destroy the relationship, or at least alter what it once was, unless you were never that close before. the main thing to remember is to not get too attached. it'll end, eventually. be prepared.
